Questions for doctors only please

Posted by carmenh on 5/20/03 at 08:01 (119350)

I would like to take a tiny poll if you can help me

1. How often do patients come into your practice complaining of tingling, burning and aching pain?
2. How long do you treat them for TTS, PF before you say 'It could be something else?'
3. How often do you send patients to the Neuroligst for the silent disease of neuropathy?

Alot. Everyday.
That depend on the physical examination
Weekly. The typical neuropathic presentation is fairly clear. I usually know from my history and physical examination what is the problem

In the last week i have notice pain in my ankles and my feet are very sore, i have tried differnt shoes, but still have the problem. Is there something i can do to stop this pain, other than leaving my job?
