ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DRUGSTORE AID FOR FOOT BUNYUN. MY DOC TOLD ME I HAD ONE ABOUT A YEAR AGO--I WORK ON MY FEET AND WALK ALOT--THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS IT HAS BEEN MORE PAINFUL--UNDER MY 2ND TO LAST TOE LEFT FOOT--AND NOW MY LEG IS STARTING TO BOTHER ME FROM LEANINING ON MY RIGHT SIDE OF LEFT FOOT AS NOT TO PUT ANY PRESSURE ON MY LEFT SIDE WHERE BUNYUN IS---NO TIME FOR DOC FOR A FEW WEEKS AND NEED TO WORK--ANY SUGGESTIONS--THANKS

If you are looking for something inexpensive, you may want to ask around for something like a Softsplint, bunion shield or an hallux valgus night splint. The night splint and soft splint help 'pull' the toe back medially, while the bunion shield cushions the met head. All devices are pretty cumbersome when trying to wear shoes. Most off the shelf orthotic devices will not give you the proper weight distribution and off loading like a custom device.
Remember, any type of device like this will not reverse a bunion, only help slow the progression.
