help with surgery in uk

Have just found this great site I have been in pain for the last year but my doctor isnt interested.I Have had some orthotics made put they havent helped much I am in so much pain I am considering surgery has any one had this done in the uk private or on the NH Looking forward to hearing from someone

Please take the time to read Scott's Heel Pain Book so that you understand the enite gamut of treatment for plantar fasciitis. Surgery is a last resort and, based on your description, you have not had a complete course of conservative treatment.

Hi Helen

I'm in the UK and I haven't heard of anyone whose had PF surgery on the NHS. I've been reading these boards for a few years now. Your best bet is to find a good podiatrist (whether privately or on the NHS)
