I am not able to afford orthotics so what would you suggest would be next that would be successful

My plantar fasciitis/heel spur was due to my flat feet and resulting over-pronation. I decided to try pre-molded orthotics, and they helped me. The product I use is called HEEL-LITE. I believe they cost me about $50.00.

I am sure you have checked your insurance to see if they covered, so you can try off the shelf brands such as powersteps to give you a little support. You can try to find a C.Ped in your area and perhaps, if they are nice like me, will give you a generous discount and split the payments to make it easier.
