Information Plz

Posted by Damian on 8/27/03 at 16:07 (128176)

I am emailing you for my wife who has recently been told by her GP she has
plantar fasciitis, She got this from an injury and our GP has prescribed
my wife a months worth of Diclofenac Sodium Enteric Coated Tablets.

And as he mentioned if these tablets do not have any effect for the best that an injection of steroids into her foot would take away the pain and she has to have these twice a year.

I was hoping you could give me any advice you can about this or hopefully for the best if this injury can possibley heal
i would much appreciate all feed back
Because Reading up on this condition is rather alarming.

Do not be alarmed. The vast majority of cases respond to conservative management.

Before you do anything read the heel pain book on this site. You can learn so much and there are a lot of things to try. Good Luck
