moretons nuromea

Posted by karen p on 9/05/03 at 08:43 (128844)

I have had a corn on the bottom pad of my foot for a few years.
I have had it cut out, nitroed, frozen to the stage where my doctor thinks its just scar tissue now. I had an xray which seems to say I have a fallen bone. I was just sent to a new podiotrist and she says I have mortons nuroma. The fallen bone is on top of the nerve and the corn is below the nerve she says this is due to wearing my steel capped boots for work. How do I fix this? I have been given exercise and will get new orthodics will this fix the problem
thankyou to anyone who answers

A morton's neuroma in the foot is not directly under the bone, it is in the innerspace. I think you have to establish a diagnosis first.
