The Supreme Court has agreed to rule on the Constitutionality of using the pharse 'Under God' in The Pledge of Allegeance. I would think if they rule against this the same request will be made for the word God that appears on our national currency.

The New England Journal of Medicne reports on some very positive results of a new weight control device. Rather than the traditional and dangerous stomach stapling their have been a number of small electrical devices placed under the skin with electrodes that are placed on the lining of the stomach wall. For reason totally unknown the small electrical impulses give the patient a feeling of fullness. They think a signal is probable being relayed to the brain by the stomach that it is full. It is a one day in an out procedure and can easily be reversed. Results in Europe have been very good with no side effects. The Journal said this may be a major breakthrough in people with severe weight problems.
