OrthotripsyPosted by Mandy G. on 10/21/03 at 12:52 (134809)
I had Orthotripsy surgery 10/17/03 after years of PF. I have been treated with everything from ice to injections. I am also a Flight Attendant so I
am on my feet more than most. There are not many in my area who have had this procedure so I don't know what to expect as far as recovery, swelling and soreness. Is it normal to be sore and swollen for several days after the surgery? I have talked to one patient and she was back at work 3 days later and I am not recovering that fast!
Can you help?

I don't know what you mean by 'orthotripsy surgery' - was this sockwave therapy with a michine or did the doctor cut your foot?

orthotripsy is another name for ossatron treatment.
