magnetic insertsPosted by Inge M on 3/08/04 at 18:13 (146483)
I've been suffering from PF for 9 months now. I've got custom orthotics, I am on anti-inflammitories, have tried active release therapy and still am not cured. I will be starting ultrasound treatments tomorrow. A friend recommended magnetic insoles. Have searched the site but did not see any postings. Has anyone tried them?

Sort of big via some multi-level marketing sellers but minimal results for plantar fasciitis seen in my experience. Some with peripheral neuropathy claim lessening of symptoms.

I am not a believer in them, but that is just my opinion.

I have pre-fab magnetic (orthotics) that are helpful. But I am not sure if it is the biomechanical therapy or magnetic therapy that is doing the trick. Magnets are certainly not going to control function, but (may) compliment orthotic therapy by speeding up the healing process.
