Bone of Big Toe

Posted by Rebecca G on 3/14/04 at 17:46 (146978)

Recently I've been experiencing great pain in my big toe. With or without shoes. When I push or touch the bone of the big toe the pain is almost unbearable. Can you tell me what this is and what I need to do about it.

You could have tendonitis, gout, fracture ( any injury?). It is time for an x-ray to see if the joint is ok. Gout would be a condition where the big toe joint is red swollen and very very painful. This is no memory of an injury.
