sudden sharp pain and burning

Posted by felicia m. on 3/17/04 at 16:26 (147181)

i found out about a year ago that i have heel spurs on both feet. i have tried the shots and untill recently, powerstep insoles. my job requires that i walk all day. today, i stepped/turned the wrong way and i expierenced a sharp pain and burning just behind my small toe. this pain was nothing like ive ever had with the spurs, it actually felt like i pulled or tore something. it has burned and hurt every since then. the limping is alot worse too. getting off my feet dident help like i hoped it would. any idea what i may have done and what can i do for the pain and burning?

First, read the Heel Pain Book so you understand what the treatment is for plantar fasciitis. It does sound like you need an exam by a professional though-- check out http://www.acfas.org to find one near you.
