Can one go back and have it done again?

Yes they can but ESWT may be a better option. The most thing is to make sure you have plantar fasciitis and not a nerve entrapment problem. Do you have what we call first step morning pain or pain after sitting for any length of time?

Dr Z, I was wondering for someone else who had TTS, it wasn't successful so I wanted to know if he could have the surgery again. It is possible to have it again?

There is an excellent link on this topic. Elliott made some important pointers regarding TTS surgery and the decision to have another operation. It is real important to find why it failed the first time and to make sure you have the correct diagnosis. Go to a doctor with a hugh amount of experience. Dr. Dellon is one of the leaders in this area of expertise.
