numbness 10 months after surgery

Posted by Terry D on 3/27/04 at 22:20 (147988)

I had tts 10 months ago. I'm in very little to no pain and can walk with shoe on very well...hardly any discomfort. The problem is tightness where the incision is and still lots of numbness in the sole of my foot even though I can feel the outside of my skin quite well.
Any suggestions? I've not been back to the Dr. as I wasn't too concerned as I thought I was healing well and it just took time.
My foot was really numb before the surgery for 3 months.

The numbness could take one year to leave. Sometimes it doesn't resolve completely
