Custom Birkenstock - Ed or . . .Posted by JAG on 4/13/04 at 02:46 (148801)
I never was quite able to adjust to the hardness of plastic orthotics and always had arch pain while wearing them. A couple weeks ago I bought a pair of Arizona birks and the cork is a very nice balance of hard and soft - never worn birks before.
But the Arizona arches are too low, I think (I have high arches and pronate). Should I try one of the few high arch styles - Fulda, Wupper, etc? Or how does the whole custom birk footbed thing work? Does it work just for their sandals or also for their shoes?
