possible post - traumatic nerve syndrome

Hi Dr. ?? my question that really has me worry is that after my heel spur removal by endoscopis surgery , the hospital put on a cast that was too tight and my toes were numb. this feeling and discomfort has not gone away since the operation that was on august 8th 2003. Since then i have taken an mri and emg but the results was negative. I also saw a nuerogist but he stated that since the result of the mri & emg were negative that there was nothing he can do. Is there anything that you can think of that can help me in my quest to find my problem and to prove a malpratice exist?

Do you have RSD?. I would make sure that this has been ruled out or your pain will last forever. RSD is where the pain is out of portion to the injury or surgery that was done. It is a very risk with any type of foot surgery but it does exist. See a pain specialist to diagnosis or at least rule this out.
