Keep try'n!Posted by Lori S. on 5/16/04 at 08:36 (150660)
Hi L! I, too, felt unproductive & unhappy due to my long term PF - I have had it now for 3 years & about 1-1/2 years into my PF plague....I was not able to do anything. I sat on the couch & tried to do things - but couldn't. Anyway, I am saying now - that after 3 yrs., I am much improved. I can ride a bike, walk (not miles & miles) at the mall a bit (enough to shop & get out for leisure) & I can ride my horses which is something I couldn't do for a long, long PF time. I wear Birks too, Brooks Ariels w/ my SDOs - & since 12/20th/03, I use SDOs w/ other shoes & w/ Isotoner slippers. The previous 3 years w/ hard prescribed orthotics & semi-rigid ones, I just couldn't get well. Keep trying! Don't give up & see your fam. phys. for an anti-depress. if needed; I took 10mg amniotryptoline for chronic pain & it helped me sleep & helped me cope, I do think. As many others here, we ATE anti-inflamm. & they truly didn't help me much till the past year. Now, tho', I haven't taken any anti-inflamm. for sometime & I recently kicked the amniotryptoline out of my routine. I think SDOs have helped me. I'd try them if I were you as you have nothign to lose as Dr. K gives you your money back if they don't work.

Thank you.... sometimes its just... not a good day..and you need to vent..........
That would have been yesterday. I btw am taking anti-inflamitories...and I notice a difference when I dont. I am going to check out SDO's. LOL... I am wearing magnets(ankle bracelets) cause a friend told me I should try it.... might as well, it couldnt possibly hurt anymore than it does. I have tried and will likely try anything.
Thanks again for your kind words... something needed at the time.... and much appreciated.......
