Is bottom of foot tender when touched?

Posted by Michael on 5/20/04 at 21:12 (150935)

I was wondering if when you press the bottom of your foot is it more painful, tender, or no difference? I feel no tenderdess and pain does not change. Thanks Michael

Michael: Often to reproduce PF pain on the botton of the foot you have to press very hard probably with you thumb where the fascia joins the heel towards the inside of the foot. Just beyond the edge of the foot. It is hard to get good levarage on yourself so you might ask you spouse to give it a try. Also dorsiflexing the foot while pressing helps.
