Changing Shoes

Posted by Jill G on 5/21/04 at 14:10 (150968)

I have heard that you should change shoes three times a day. Is there any truth to that or is it simply an old wived tale?
And if it is true when did it first come about?

It is good to have a few good pairs of shoes to switch every few days or so. Mainly, we tell our diabetic patients that they should switch every day or couple of days. Wearing the same pair day in and day out can cause excessive wear and tear and cause the shoe to break down and not support you properly.

My wife, however, has enough shoes to change ever three hours. haha
