More on Cortisone

Thank you for pointing out that there are many different types of cortisone. What type of cortisone is used to treat Morton's Neuroma?

I'm wondering if cortisone would help in my case. I have 2 problems resulting from Koby Surgical nerve decompression surgery. Before the surgery I only had occassional pain which orthotics and shoe selection helped with. Since the surgery my 4 met head has dropped and is very mobile as the ligament has been snipped, and the nerve in the 2nd interspace was injured from the post surgery manipulation. Therefore I have pain in both the 2nd and 3rd interspaces.

If you think cortisone might help things to settle down, please let me know which type. Would this be a temporary or permanent solution? My gait has been off for 4 months now and I'm worried about the rest of my joints as much as my foot.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond.
