Docs, about my clicking senssation...

Posted by JudyB on 6/21/04 at 23:03 (153670)

I surfed around the net some and found several articles that said a clicking senstion is common when neuromas are present. As I said here:

When I push and rub my fingers on #30 and sometimes # 31 here (chart) http://www.geocities.com/CLCinNOLA/footpain.html it feels like a clicking sensation.

Have you experienced this same thing in your patients?

Hi

The clicking sensation is usually between the 2nd and or 3rd metatarsal interspaces. This is called Mulder's sign. Burnng along with pain are the the chief signs when patients present to my office

DrZ, here is where I seem to get the most pain/burning:
#30 and sometimes # 31 here (chart) http://www.geocities.com/CLCinNOLA/footpain.html

I use to exercise a lot.

Is this normal where it happens, or can it happen here?

Hi

This could be neuroma pain. Physical examination is the key to determining what nerve is causing your burning pain
