Hamstring attachment pain due to plantar fasciitis

Posted by yawso on 6/23/04 at 18:01 (153788)

I have been dealing with pain in my heal and at my hamstring attachment since after my first pregnancy. Although I do not, and have never had, the classic symptom of plantar fasciitis, namely pain first thing in the morning when I get out of bed, several podiatrists and orthopedists have diagnosed me with plantar fascitis. I alos notice that infact most of the time higher heals are better for my pain. I have a lot of pain in my hamstring attachment to the hip bone. Sometimes I walk around hitting myself in the back to make it feel better, streching the hamstring really helps. Is this kind of pain a normal consequence of untreated plantar fasciitis or am I having a different problem?
