intraped nerve

i had open planter release 2 months ago and dont feel right so i got a second opoion the i told the doc that when i tap on the surgery incision i get a tingaling and sharp pain that shoots right trew the surgery area he said i have a intraped nerve from this surgery how can this happed and what the next step

Nerves can be entrapped via scar tissue formation. One option is to try to decrease the scar tissue as much as possible. That can be done via PT/ultrasound, injections of hyaluronidase (an enzyme which breaks down scar tissue), triamcinolone acetonide (a steroid that helps break down scar tissue.)

how can i be 100%sure its a intraped nerve what test can be done? and if no improvement with a stroid shot how long till i have another surgery to remove intraped nerve its been 6 weeks sence my open P.F. surgery
