maybe misdiagnosed?

Posted by Blackwidow63957 on 7/20/04 at 15:43 (155937)

Last year I was diagnosed with Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome, but the more I research it, the more I wonder if I was diagnosed incorrectly. My foot pain is in my arch, rather in my ankle. I have never had flat feet, but rather the oppisite (high arches). Now I have little arch due to swelling. I have never had a job that requires me to stand on my feet a lot, or do much walking. I'm so confused, I really don't know anymore. Any comments would be most helpful.

I would obtain a nerve conduction velocity test (NCV) to check for TTS.
Do you know what the cause of the swelling is? If not, an MRI may also be needed.
