im 2 month into my recovery from open planter realease when i tap on incision from surgery i get a stabing pain that shoot threw the incision area I WAS TOLD ITS A INTRAPED NERVE is thier any test out thier to check for (A INTRAPED NERVE)

It is not likely that any specific neurolgical tests would be helpful. If scar tissue is 'trapping' a nerve then the focus should be on getting rid of the scar tissue. That can be done via ultrasound, massage, injections of a scar dissolving enzyme -- hyaluronidase.

thanks you DR ed because i just got back from a new foot doctor he was positive i have a intraped nerve and said a shot in the scare tissue was not long term and he could cut the nerve outso i wouldent have to worry about scare tissue no more
