Doctors - I forgot 2 thingsPosted by Darlene on 7/23/04 at 12:12 (156123)
The MRI report also said:
1. There is a small amount of fibrous proliferation in the second web space, but no well formed neuroma.
2. Incidental note made of non-acute split of peroneous brevis tendon inferior to the fibular tip
Could this fibrous proliferation be due to an injury during my ligament release surgery. This is the area where I have felt pain from the time of surgery in January to the present. Do you think a shot of cortisone might help?

Use of a small amount of cortisone in the area of scar tissue may help. Have you had a nerve conduction velocity test (NCV)?

I had a nerve conduction test which was normal.
I never had any tts type symptoms until my ligament release surgery for morton's neuroma. My gait has been off ever since. Could this be causing the muscle to expand?
