Custom Insole Kit

Posted by Dennyj on 8/11/04 at 11:01 (157515)

I recently tried a pair of Heelspurs.com's 'Custom Insole Kit' ($39). They're great! Very easy to do. Just heat one up in the oven at 250 for 10 minutes and then pull it out, put it on the foam block provided and then step on it with a sock on your foot. Two minutes later you're done. Perfect fit in no time flat. They're very comfortable. I actually like them better than my prescription orthotics as they're more comfortable and they feel better on the heel. I just ordered 3 more so I can put them in all my shoes and don't have to keep switching. Best insert I've tried, and I've tried many.

is this a soft product when finished? is it a full length or 3/4 in shoe?
i find some things very confusing...such as...if i step in one and put my weight on it to form it..aren't i getting the impression of my foot WITH the defective arch..therefore negating getting an arch support?
