Heelspurs in themselves are not a problem Sherry. They are merely a symptom of PF. Many people have heelspurs and no PF or no pain and many people with PF (including me) have no heelspur.

What John stated is all I have heard from my Pod's about the lack of importance of heelspurs. I think my one of my feet showed a start of one but nothing substaintial.

I have never had spurs so I do not have any experience with treatment. I would ask the doc if he treats that condition.

My pt says that she has clients with heelspurs but no pf, and pain. She thinks that my heelspur is causing a problem in my right foot. No one seems to know about this for sure.
