Arch supportsPosted by Holly on 9/07/04 at 20:18 (159527)
I was looking for arch supports on the web. I have bought the customs supports, but have worn through those very quickly. I don't want to spend 500 every six months. Any suggestions for a cheaper but good high arch support. Live in NY so walk--alot.

I have used Superfeet inserts, Holly, and found them to work well for me. Check them out at http://www.superfeet.com .

Holly, I have several pairs of pre-molded orthotics from Ortho-Dynamics. They are very helpful for me, but I have normal/flat arches/excessive pronation. They cost ~$50.00/pair:

Many of the doctors here like PowerSteps. My son wears them for PF; my husband wears them for pain caused in the ball of his foot by a hammertoe.
Now, aren't you confused? :)

i like the superfeet, too....they have nice high heel cups, and work well with the new balance sneakers...

Almost every orthotic lab I know has a minimum of a one year warranty. Where are you getting your 'arch supports?'
