Shoe QuestionPosted by Monte on 11/26/04 at 10:58 (164746)
Can you were a Rockport shoe that does not have a nylon shank in the arch as long as you wear an orthotic or even a Powersteps insole?
I look for stable shoes....but can i wear a regular comfort shoe with the orthotic to do the control work?

Monte - I like your ? as I too, want a more cushy, comfortable shoe sometimes w/o all that control.....& wonder if the orth. w/ less control type shoe would be ok.....& an asset at times, in order to let our feet REST...?? I am anxious to hear your replies to this w/ others' experiences & also Richard, Cped's wisdom. I await!

I asked my pod the same question and she said that it's better to have the control. If you notice, your foot probably moves around more in the 'comfort' shoes.
