I have had tarsal tunnel surgery three times. The last time was to do vein wrap procedure. Still have a great deal of pain. Drs say the nerve itself is damaged. I wear CAM walker most of the time to limit movement. Use crutches if totally unable to bear weight. The local podiatrist gave me something called Actipatch. In reading the directions it seems to be used for eye surgery. What does this do and how would it help nerve damage. My doc said his partner uses it for her pts and to try it. Thank you.

Doctor's are using ActiPAtch for all types of inflammatory procedures. I believe it promotes blood flow which helps with edema and the pain associated. Alot of patients use the patch for pain, arthritis a ton of other reasons as well. It may help in recovery and any pain you maybe feeling. Let me know your results.
