Good news!Posted by Kathy in Ky on 12/13/04 at 19:02 (165581)
My husband has been feeling bad for a couple months. He's had pnuemonia, asthma & just been feeling weaker & weaker at work. We knew something just wasn't right. Today a heart specialist found artery blockages with a ballon procedure & placed four stents. That should help his breathing so much, in fact he is coming home tomorrow & should be able to return to teaching by Thursday! God Bless his doctors at St. Joe.

Glad to hear he'll be ok. My hubby had pnuemonia several years ago and didn't know it because he was to stubborn to go to the doc. He goes now! It took him a while to recover. So glad your doctors were able to help him. At least he'll be a little better before Christmas.

Thank goodness they found the blockage! So many people have benefited from the same procedure and are going strong years and years later. Medical technology never ceases to amaze me!
If he had waited longer, he may have had to undergo bypass surgery which is still amazing but has a longer rehabilitation.
What happy Christmas news!

Sure sounds like your husband is a lucky guy! Thank goodness they found the problem in time.
You and your family have a lot to be thankful for this year!
Take care, and I wish you all the best.
