Alzner OthoticPosted by joeW on 12/14/04 at 10:52 (165616)
Has anyone (PF'ers) had experience with these orthotics? I had a guy at my health club who had PF for 7 years 'swears' by these. They are mass produced but have an extremely high arch for taking pressure of the heel. I can't find anyplace to order a pair on the web. They seem to be only sold in stores, like 'goodfeet' which is 200 miles from me.
I recently had ESWT 2 weeks ago, I am better but wouldn't mind trying another orthotic, my custom mades are only fair.

You can do a quick search with Alzner or Good Feet as a keyword. You should find some colorful comments regarding both.

These are the best. I can stay on my feet all day now. I won't lie, they are painful at first, but so worth it. I have a phone # for a store in TN maybe they can help. (865)436-4202

the price is too high and many of the store operators are charlatans and practice medicine without a degree. Look for a phase 4 and it is about the same thing for under $30

BLT, I must agree with you. Paying ~$300 for a pair of pre-fab orthotics is crazy! For that price, I would recommend custom orthotics. For those interested in pre-fab orthotics, I think Ortho-Dynamic's line is as good as any, and they are only ~$50 per pair: http://www.orthodynamics.com/ .
This is just my opinion.
