Flu Shot/Pneumonia ShotPosted by Elyse B on 12/15/04 at 13:38 (165672)
I am scheduled to go for a flu shot and pneumonia vaccine tomorrow. Was wondering if anyone has had either with any adverse side effects. My doctor is giving it to me because I have some white blood cell issues and he wants to take precautions. Thanks.

I had the flu/pneumonia shot a couple of weeks ago and had no side effects, Elyse.

Pneumonia shot every 10 years. Very important as you get older as pneumonia can be a killer in aging people. I have never had a reaction and of course in the military you get every shot threre is as you are always subject to world wide travel including third world nations. My shot books are filled up and I have three of them. The bad one was Typhus.
