Posted by Jasonh on 12/16/04 at 12:31 (165749)

my feet ache by the end of the night. i can barley walk for a few minutes in the morning. the pain is mostly in the arch but i have some heal pain as well. if i stretch my arch i can feel bumps on the bottom of my foot that are sore to the touch on the arch just in front of the heal. also inflamation just in front of the heal on the inside of the foot. i have never had flat feet before??
can you help.

Jason:
Without actually looking at your foot we can only speculate as to the most likely causes. Plantar fibromatosis is scar-like enlargements of the plantar fascia on the bottom of the foot. They can be shrank and rendered asymptomatic by injecting them with hyaluronidase (an enzyme that breaks down scar tissue) and triamcinilone acetonide (a steroid).
