i went to an orthopedic doctor with a heel spur and he gave me celebrix and exercises to do. i had been taking bextra for a back problem and switched to celebrix after news fo the problems with the drug. the primary excercise was the streching that runners do before and after a run to strech the ham string. To lean against a wall with the injured foot flat on the floor and the other leg bent. You do this until you feel the ham string start to cause discomfort.
I did this for several days and bought heel cushions from the pharmacy and have had little or no pain since. Natually i am aslo now off the celebrix. Give it a try
