For those of you who missed it - how to stop your orthotics from squeaking

Posted by Kathy G on 1/21/05 at 10:35 (167670)

My thanks to Richard who said he used duct tape. I wrapped three pieces of duct tape around my orthotics; one in the toe area, one in the arch area and one in the heel area. I can now sneak up on anyone as my orthotics no longer squeak! I almost miss the sound; I had become so accustomed to it.

Once again, our resident genius comes through! Thanks, Richard. And thank you to the others who mentioned using athletic tape. Duct tape is cheaper and I like the look of my shiny silver and black striped orthotics!
