Arch Pain

Posted by Mary G on 2/03/05 at 20:17 (168445)

After 5 years of going to numerous doctors, having every test possible and therapy I am still suffering from this horrible arch pain. The pain seems to start where the heel ends and arch begins. The longer I'm on my feet the more excruciating the pain gets in my arches. My arches do not hurt when I first get up but as soon as I start walking it starts. If I get off my feet for a while it will go away but begins again as soon as I put weight on them.

If you could PLEASE give me any suggestions or treatment I would appreciate it more than you can imagine. I've had to alter my life to the degree I don't leave the house much.

This is a tough but appears to be a common problem. First it is important to determine what specific anatomy is involved. Is this the posterior tib nerve or tendon or plantar fascia. What have your doctors told you.?
