I was diagnosed with PF a few years ago and followed a regimen of stretching and icing. The pain mostly went away. Recently, I have begun exercising more and the pain has returned.
My problem is, some mornings I wake up and not only does my heal hurt but my calf is stiff and hurts as well? Is this still a symptom of PF?

Read the heel pain book. You need to see a podiatrist before this becomes chronic with a very long road back to recovery

Dr Z is right, as usual. You need to read the heel pain book and also start doing some of Julie's Yoga stretches. They work wonders for calf pain. A tilt board helped me, too, when mine was at its worst.
