Great post, Kathy! Not in the least trite. I didn't realise, and thanks for pointing it out.

Klaus and I get a kick out of these 'significant numbers'. We quite often wait for 22.22 (that would be 10.22 pm in old money). The other day, the 22nd of February, we had a big treat. His digital watch displays the date. I was still 'working' at my Mac (probably fooling around at heelspurs) and he came in to show me that it was nearly 22.22. So we watched the seconds roll by and saw, with huge delight, 2.22.22.22.

The next time this happens (and it will be even better) will be at 11.11 on the 11th of November 2011. I can't wait.

Yes, we actually talked about it during our calendar time this morning! We post the date on the calendar and also the digital date. They thought that 03/04/05 was really neat!

..I tend to notice the dates...being married to a law enforcement guy with 27 years on the force when he retired...we were always partial to 10/4. Lol.

If you were in the UK it would be (well, it is) 04/03/05.

It's logical: smallest unit (day) followed by next biggest (month) followed by biggest (year).
