Does it cause stress on the opposite foot? I don't want to end up with PF in the opposite foot and this is my concern. Any suggestions?

I wore a pretty pink cast for 8 wks. for pf. My foot felt so much better with the cast on. I could actually get up and GO without limping the first 2 to 3 minutes after rising from a seated position. When I got the cast off, I still had the tender spots, laid off weight bearing activities in hopes the pf would get better. It didn't. Sorry. I guess I have a stubborn case.
My left hip is sore sometimes I think because of the cast. I wore the cast on my right foot, and they say to wear shoes that have a little lift. ???? I just wore my Nikes and Birkenstocks, so this did put some added stress on the other side of my body. Just be aware of shoes and posture.
