heel pain increases as the day goes on, by night, severe pain.Posted by DanaG on 3/13/05 at 15:20 (171111)
I wake up in the morning without pain, by mid afternoon, heel pain begins (on all aspects of my left heel). Come bbedtime, often, I have to keep my affected foot suspended off the side of my bed or elevated on a pillow without my heel touching anything. The other heel has never bothered me.
I love going barefoot but have used great restraint andhave been wearing an AFS with some limited success.
I always see references made for severe morning pain when first getting up.

I am not a doctor, but you need to see a pod to get a clear diagnosis. Then you can start with a treatment plan.

Dana- This is how my pf started both times. After months of the pain that got worse as the day went on, when it got really bad the morning pain started. Hope yours doesn't get that bad, but yes you should get an accurate diagnosis. Tina
