Anodyne therapy?Posted by Margie on 3/31/05 at 10:10 (172267)
Has anyone tried Anodyne therapy for their chronic nerve pain and TTS issues? It was a suggestion someone offered to me. It has to do with infrared light.

I started Anodyne about a week ago - have had 4 sessions to date.
So far I have not noticed any difference but Im told its generally around the 5th or 6th session when you know something is happening. I'm spose to go for a total of 12 sessions and if it works, they'll set me up with a home unit. They are having me do a bunch of exercises along with the therapy.
My insurance co. had BETTER pay for this! They screwed me out of nerve release surgery costs.

It is always important to get a pre-certification with any type of physical therapy such as Anodyne. Good luck with the treatment
