has anyone tried Spira shoes?

They are notable for the spring in the heel, which supposedly offers more energy return than other shoes and doesn't break down. Here is their web site:


These shoes were briefly queried about on heelspurs in their earlier incarnation as ShoeSpring:

Interesting concept. I did a search but could find no additonal information to answer my concerns about midfoot stabilty which would be the key factor in PF.
