Can Metatarsalgia cause PF? Any comments or explanations of symptoms?

Metatarsalgia is a vague term used to describe pain in the ball of the foot. The fascia does connect to the met heads, so it could be possible pain is coming from there. With many painful foot conditions, we will change the way we walk to favor the 'sore spots'. That can often lead to pain in other areas of the foot, knees or lower back.

I agree with this. The ball of my foot was so sore from metatarsalgia and the bunion surgery that I favored it and walked on my heels -- result PF! Ugh! Mar
