right heel painPosted by Anne on 4/15/05 at 13:53 (173262)
For five days I have had a sharp pain on my right heel. The pain is centered on the back left (inside) corner of the foot and hurts when any pressure is on the foot - standing, walking, etc.
I wasn't doing anything strenuous when the pain started. Got up from my desk at the office and felt a twinge and has been hurting ever since. I am on my feet a lot - exercise every day and probably run 2X/week.
I have had plantar fasciitis before and don't believe that this is it. This pain is more contained and doesn't seem to respond to stretching, icing, etc.
Any ideas of what it could be and possible treatments?
