JUST TO ADD TO MY PREVIOUS POST, the quack doctor I went to looked at xrays that were 2 years old and didnt even take recent ones. Cortisone shots dont help. Pain medications dont help. By the end of each day the swelling radiating from the heel spur and achilles tendon is so bad that i cant feel my toes. my foot looks like a club. the bone spur sticks right into the achilles tendon. there is another spur on the bottom of the hell. i can barely walk and sleep is impossible and this jackass tells me to go for physical therapy. can anyone tell me a competant orthopaedic surgeon in albuquerque?

I lived in Albuquerque 12 years ago - born and raised. I saw a DPM (Podiatrist) by the name of Mark Haas (if I remember correctly), his office was located below the main campus of UNM.
He was one of the better foot doctors I have worked with and I have met quite a few of them in my life.
