Calf MusclePosted by Looking for Answers on 5/12/05 at 10:54 (174823)
Finally is the atrophy of muscle just in the foot with Tarsal Tunnel or could it also be in the calf? Or am I loosing calf muscle because of all the sitting around to avoid pain? THX

I have bird legs because I suffer with chronic nerve pain for over 5 years. Failed tarsal tunnel release surgeries on both feet. With this pain continueously it makes it impossible to exercise to keep the muscles.
Sorry I know I am not much help.

You sure you don't have CMT?
My calves kill me when the tts acts up - the pain radiates upward more than down in my foot. Mostly its my ankle to my a few inches below my knee that hurts, my toes don't really hardly ever hurt.
