Restless Leg SyndromePosted by john h on 5/15/05 at 17:00 (175096)
I have seen a few post by people who suspect they have Restless Leg Syndrome. Symptoms can include waking up tired, trouble sleeping, parathesia in the legs, tingling in the legs, sometime even pain in the legs especially in the calf, etc. A recent study has concluded the problem is caused by a lack of dopomine (spelling?) in the brain. In other words this is not all in your head (pun I guess). There are several common drugs that have been found to very successfully treat this problem. I believe these are the samed drugs used to treat parkinson disease.

That's correct. Another reason is a patient taking any type of serotonin uptake re-inhibitors such as prozac, effector etc. It's one of the prices I guess for happiness.
