I GET A LOT OF GOUT ATTACKS AND FOR 6 MONTHS HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WEAR SHOES ON THE LEFT FOOT. THE LITTLE TOE IS LIKE A GOLF BALL-SWOLLEN AND RED
FOOT DR. TELLS ME THAT I NEED SURGERY TO REMOVE SOME BONE DAMAGED FROM GOUT. RECOVERY TIME 3-4 WEEKS. ANY ADVICE? THANKS, (email removed)

This could help. Make sure there in no infection. The recovery time meaning the fatness and or swelling can take months to go away
