plantar fasciitis moving towards big toe?

Posted by AngelaD on 7/23/05 at 10:04 (178918)

Hello,

I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2003. Because I was hell bent on running it, I ran it with plantar fasciitis. It is almost gone. But the discomfort, which used to be more pain, seems to have moved from the point on my heels up towards the ball of my foot. I try to rub it out but it seems to be inflamed. (and I've taped, night splints, a little ice, stretching, orthotics) - it's very close to being gone.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this last naggin remnant?

Thanks.

just keep it up, if you are close to being done this means that the treatment worked well for you, keep putting ice, elevation and massagge and stretching to strengh the ligament....

good luck
